Internet Speed Test
Check your connection with real download, upload, and latency measurements.
Internet Speed Check
Run a real M-Lab internet speed test.
This test uses Measurement Lab’s NDT7 network test—the same open measurement platform used by Google for its internet speed test experience—to measure download, upload, and latency.

M-Lab disclosure: Running this test sends synthetic measurement traffic to Measurement Lab. Your public IP address and measurement results are collected and published in M-Lab’s open dataset, where results are stored indefinitely. M-Lab states that the test does not inspect your normal internet traffic. I understand and want to run the test. M-Lab Privacy Policy

Review and check the disclosure beside Start, then begin the test.
The full test normally takes about 20 seconds because NDT7 runs separate download and upload measurements. Download and upload use Measurement Lab; latency is measured separately from your browser to Computilize so it still works when the M-Lab stream does not expose RTT data. Results can vary by Wi-Fi conditions, device performance, network congestion, and server path.
